Third Time

Third Time's The Charm
(33 Words - A writing prompt from Trifecta)

Three young heroes, came one by one to slay her.  Wicked witch.   Perhaps she was, yet she wept as they died.   In the blood of the last bonny boy the talisman shivered, alive.

  1. I like the way in which you leave to wonder of the witch's multi-faceted persona - was she wicked? what type of tears were shed, as there was apparently reward to be gained. Great depth in so few words, Thomas.

  2. WOW..you. This was deliciously devious as if you never quite know her nature. As if the light and dark side of anyone is always swirled.

    Great writing, amazing.

  8. Nothing more powerful than blood. Except perhaps a witch's tears.
Nicely done. Though I'm sure there's more, it stands well alone.
